April 26 (Bloomberg) -- Russia’s winter-crop loss rate came to 7.5 percent this year, lower than in 2009 and 2010, Interfax reported.
The total winter-crop area is 16.5 million hectares (40.8 million acres), including grains and rapeseed, the news agency said. It cited remarks by Agriculture Minister Yelena Skrynnik at a government presidium meeting today.
