Barcelona Coach Guardiola to Step Down After Season, Sky Says

April 26 (Bloomberg) -- Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola will step down when his contract expires at the end of the season, Skys Sports News reported on its website.

Guardiola, 41, has notified club officials of his decision and will hold a press conference with Barcelona President Sandro Rosell tomorrow, Sky said, citing sources it didn’t identify.

Guardiola has led Barcelona to two Champions League titles and three Spanish league championships since replacing Frank Rijkaard in June 2008.

Barcelona was knocked out of the Champions League semifinals by Chelsea two days ago.
