April 26 (Bloomberg) -- Almacenes Exito SA, Colombia’s biggest publicly traded retailer, said first-quarter net income more than doubled to 93.8 billion pesos ($53.2 million).
The company announced the results late yesterday in an e-mailed statement. Interbolsa SA had projected first-quarter net income of 65.9 billion pesos, according to an April 20 research note.
