Fan Milk Ghana Rises Most in Six Months on Profit: Accra Mover

April 24 (Bloomberg) -- Fan Milk Ltd., a maker of ice cream and frozen yogurt in Ghana, rose the most in almost six months as profit increased in the first quarter through March.

The shares rose 2.3 percent, to 2.23 cedis as of 1:34 p.m. in Accra, the capital, the biggest gain since Nov. 2.

Fan Milk’s net income rose 26 percent from a year earlier to 6.5 million cedis ($3.5 million) in March as revenue advanced to 35.7 million cedis from 25.5 million cedis, the Accra-based company said yesterday.
