April 19 (Bloomberg) -- Hungary’s benchmark BUX stock index was little changed at 17,553.13 by the close in Budapest.
The following were among the most active shares in the Hungarian market today. Stock symbols follow company names.
E-Star Alternativ Nyrt. (ESTAR HB), a Hungarian renewable energy and heating company, fell to the lowest in almost three years after starting a “restructuring plan” to address accounting errors and boost liquidity. The shares dropped 4.2 percent to 2,325 forint, the lowest closing level since May 2009.
CIG Pannonia Eletbiztosito Nyrt., a Hungarian life insurer, slumped after shareholders authorized the board to raise capital. The shares dropped 3.9 percent to 391 forint.
