Peru Jobless Rate Rose to 8.7% Last Month, Government Says

April 16 (Bloomberg) -- Peru’s unemployment rate rose to 8.7 percent last month from 8.3 percent in February, the national statistics agency said today in an e-mailed report.

The unemployment rate is a three-month moving average based on a survey conducted by the agency in the Lima metropolitan area.
