April 12 (Bloomberg) -- Hungary’s benchmark BUX stock index rose 0.6 percent to 17,979.91 as of 10:31 a.m. in Budapest. The following were among the most active equities in the Hungarian market today. Stock symbols follow company names.

OTP Bank Nyrt. (OTP HB), Hungary’s largest lender, rebounded from the lowest close in almost three months as the Federal Reserve said the U.S. economy continues to expand, boosting bets on a recovery in the world economy. The shares advanced 0.8 percent to 3,628 forint.

Mol Nyrt. (MOL HB), Hungary’s largest refiner, gained 0.5 percent to 17,360 forint. Oil rose for a second day in New York after fuel stockpiles declined more than expected.
