Indonesian Stocks: Bekasi Fajar, Ciputra Development, Medco

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Jakarta.

The Jakarta Composite Index slid 0.1 percent to 4,149.80, falling for a second day.

Oil producers: PT Medco Energi Internasional (MEDC IJ), the nation’s biggest listed oil company, lost 1.2 percent to 2,075 rupiah. PT Energi Mega Persada (ENRG IJ), the second largest, dropped 2.2 percent to 180 rupiah. Crude oil futures touched a seven-week low yesterday, dropping to as low as $100.81 a barrel. Oil was last at $101.97.

PT Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate (BEST IJ), an industrial-park developer, jumped 68 percent to 285 rupiah on its first trading day after raising 300 billion rupiah ($33 million) in an initial public offering last week.

PT Ciputra Development (CTRA IJ), a property developer, rose 1.3 percent to 760 rupiah, closing at a record. Ciputra expects marketing sales to rise 73 percent this year to 6.35 trillion rupiah, it said today.
