April 10 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are as of 3 p.m. local time.
The IGBC Index fell 0.2 percent to 14,864.86 while the Colcap Index declined 0.3 percent to 1,739.48.
Helm Bank SA (PFBHELMB CB) reversed an earlier decline, rising 0.4 percent to 462 pesos.
Helm Corp., the holding company of Helm Bank, hired Inverlink SA to study options for its stake in the Colombian lender, according to a regulatory filing today. The shares fell as much as 7.8 percent today, the steepest intraday drop since October 2008, after the lender in a separate statement denied a report that a controlling stake in the company has been sold.
Construcciones El Condor SA (ELCONDOR CB), a Colombian construction company specializing in infrastructure projects, traded at 1,360 pesos in its debut, 3.9 percent less than the 1,415 pesos at which the shares were sold in an initial public offering last month.
Bolsa de Valores de Colombia SA (BVC CB), the operator of Colombia’s main stock exchange, fell 0.3 percent to 33.5 pesos.
