April 9 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Sao Paulo trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close of trading. Preferred shares are usually the most-traded class of stock.
The Bovespa Index fell 1.2 percent to 62,923.21.
Lupatech SA (LUPA3 BS) advanced 11 percent to 5.07 reais, the biggest one-day jump since Feb. 17. Brazil’s biggest oil-services company said its top shareholders remain committed to injecting at least 350 million reais ($192 million) of fresh capital.
OGX Petroleo & Gas Participacoes SA (OGXP3 BS) fell 3.1 percent to 14.19 reais. Crude for May delivery declined 0.8 percent on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Petroleo Brasileiro SA (PETR4 BS) retreated 1.9 percent to 21.59 reais.
