Dogan Yayin Holding Reports 2011 Loss of 1.2 Billion Liras

April 7 (Bloomberg) -- Dogan Yayin Holding AS, a Turkish media holding company, reported a loss of 1.2 billion liras ($670 million) last year, compared with a loss of 237 million liras in 2010.

The Istanbul-based company, which owns Turkey’s most-watched television station, Kanal D, as well as daily newspapers including Hurriyet, Radikal and Posta, was expected to report a loss of 1.1 billion liras, according to the average of four analyst estimates on Bloomberg.
