April 5 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Chilean trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are as of the close.
The Ipsa index rose 0.3 percent to 4,647.99. The MSCI Chile index gained 0.4 percent to 2,663.77.
Cia Cervecerias Unidas SA (CCU CC) fell 1.9 percent to 7,192.2 pesos. The country’s largest brewer has lost 3.9 percent in the two days since being cut to hold from buy at Deutsche Bank AG.
CFR Pharmaceuticals SA (CFR CC) rose 2.1 percent to 124.01 pesos. The drug company agreed to buy 50 percent of India’s Stellence Pharmscience Private Ltd. for $20.8 million, said a regulatory filing released after the close of trading yesterday.
Ripley Corp SA (RIPLEY CC) climbed 2.5 percent to 566.39 pesos. Chile’s third-largest department-store operator led gains by interest-rate sensitive stocks after annual inflation unexpectedly slowed back to within the central bank’s target range, easing pressure on policy makers to raise borrowing costs.
