April 1 (Bloomberg) -- NBNK Investments Plc plans to re-enter the competition to acquire more than 600 Lloyds Banking Group Plc branches, the Sunday Times reported, citing unidentified people.
Co-Operative Bank Plc’s exclusivity in negotiating with Lloyds to buy the branches expired yesterday, the newspaper reported. The talks with Co-Op have also been faltering, the Sunday Times said.
