March 31 (Bloomberg) -- Bayern Munich beat Nuremburg 1-0 to pull within three points of first-place Dortmund in German soccer’s Bundesliga.
Arjen Robben scored in the 69th minute as Bayern gained on Dortmund, which drew 4-4 last night with Stuttgart. Bayern visits Dortmund on April 11.
AC Milan tied Catania 1-1 to extend its lead in Italy’s Serie A to five points over Juventus, which plays Napoli tomorrow. Milan’s Robinho opened the scoring in the 35th minute and Catania’s Nicolas Spolli scored in the 57th minute.
Lee McCulloch’s goal in the 89th minute gave Rangers a 2-1 win over Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League. Rangers moved six points ahead of Motherwell in the race for second place and denied Celtic, which has a 15-point lead, a chance to clinch the title tomorrow at St. Johnstone.
