Vietnam March Coffee Exports Forecast at 200,000 Tons

March 28 (Bloomberg) -- Vietnam, the world’s biggest producer of robusta coffee, may export 200,000 metric tons this month, according to figures released today by the General Statistics Office in Hanoi, 24 percent more than in the same period last year.

Exports in the first three months of the year were estimated at 514,000 tons, down 10 percent from a year earlier. The nation exported 202,000 tons in February, 12 percent higher than a previous assessment of 180,000 tons, revised figures from the Statistics Office show.

Vietnam exported 161,000 tons in March last year, according to preliminary GSO data.
