March 28 (Bloomberg) -- Plastikkart Akilli Kart Iletisim Sistemleri Sanayi & Ticaret AS, a Turkish maker of smart cards, climbed in Istanbul after starting talks with Amsterdam-based Gemalto NV on a possible share sale.
Plastikkart rose 3.3 percent to 2.85 liras by the close of trading after jumping as much as 8.3 percent. The company will hold talks with Gemalto on a possible share sale and commercial partnership, it said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange today.
