March 28 (Bloomberg) -- The German government’s coalition parties are planning to work out a concept to prevent excessive price fluctuations at the gas pump, Bild newspaper reported, citing unidentified lawmakers.
First proposals will be made before the Easter holidays, Bild said. Germany’s cartel office and the economy ministry will contribute to drafting a response to price changes of as much as 15 euro cents ($0.2) a day recently, the newspaper said.
