March 25 (Bloomberg) -- Brian Mattingley, deputy chairman of 888 Holdings Plc, will become the permanent chief executive officer of the U.K. online gambling company, the Sunday Times reported, without saying how it obtained the information.
Andrew Benbow, a spokesman for the company, declined to comment on whether Mattingley will be placed into the role full time, when contacted today by phone. “Brian has done an exceptional job and I’m sure his appointment would be welcomed by investors,” he said.
