March 23 (Bloomberg) -- New York Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain dislocated his right ankle while playing with his son, requiring surgery, ESPN reported.
Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman termed it a “significant injury,” ESPN said.
Chamberlain underwent reconstructive elbow surgery last June.
