March 21 (Bloomberg) -- Turkish dairy producers Pinar Sut Mamulleri Sanayii AS and Yaprak Sut & Besi Ciftlikleri Sanayi & Ticaret AS advanced after Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan pledged to distribute milk to school children.
Pinar gained 1.9 percent to 19.30 liras, its highest in two weeks, while Yaprak added 1.4 percent to 4.30 liras, its highest in a month.
Erdogan said in a speech in parliament in Ankara today that the government would begin distributing free milk to students up to the fifth grade.
