The subordinated notes have a 45-year final maturity, said the person, asking not to be identified because the details are private.

The unit of Macquarie Group Ltd. has A$10.9 billion ($11.5 billion) of bonds outstanding, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. It last sold dollar debt in February, when it raised $700 million from the senior notes sale, the data show.
