March 14 (Bloomberg) -- Ukraine’s grains stockpiles were 21 million metric tons as of March 1, 69 percent higher than a year earlier, the country’s statistics office said.
The inventories included 9.7 million tons of corn, 8.1 million tons of wheat and 2.1 million tons of barley, it said today on its website. Sunflower stockpiles rose 6 percent to 3.5 million tons, the Kiev-based office said in the statement.
