March 14 (Bloomberg) -- Acciona SA, Sociedad General de Aguas de Barcelona SA and Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas SA may separately bid for a stake in Madrid’s water company, Expansion said, citing unidentified people familiar with the matter.
The Spanish companies may team up with foreign investors to buy between 25 and 25 percent of Canal de Isabel II, as the water company is known, Expansion said. Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA is Canal’s adviser, Expansion said.
