March 12 (Bloomberg) -- Grana y Montero SA, a Lima-based construction company, said it will build eight housing projects in Peru “in the medium term” to meet rising demand.
The company aims to build 2,000 homes a year, up from 1,500 in 2011, Chief Executive Officer Jose Grana Miro Quesada said in a regulatory filing. Peru needs to build 100,000 to 150,000 homes annually to meet demand, he said in the filing.
