March 7 (Bloomberg) -- VimpelCom Ltd. has cut international roaming charges for mobile Internet access as much as 96 percent, the last of Russia’s three biggest mobile operators to lower fees, Vedomosti said.
One megabyte of data sent or received in Europe at the discounted rate will cost 30.21 rubles ($1.02) from as much as 768 rubles previously, the newspaper said, citing VimpelCom. Rates were also reduced in Southeast Asia, according to the report.
