South Korea to Increase Soybean Oil Imports This Year, USDA Says

March 7 (Bloomberg) -- South Korea may increase imports of soybean oil to 320,000 metric tons in the marketing year that ends Sept. 30, up from 300,000 tons last year, a unit of the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in a report posted on its website today.

Imports may rise to 360,000 tons in the season that starts Oct. 1, the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service said. South Korea’s soybean imports may fall to 1.2 million tons in the year that ends Sept. 30, down from 1.239 million last year.
