Indonesia Stock Movers: Indosat, Petrosea, Vale Indonesia

March 6 (Bloomberg) -- Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Jakarta.

The Jakarta Composite index fell 0.5 percent to 3,967.08, declining for a second day.

Nickel producers: PT Vale Indonesia (INCO IJ), the nation’s biggest producer of the metal, dropped 1.4 percent to 3,450 rupiah, the lowest close since Jan. 18. PT Aneka Tambang (ANTM IJ), the second-largest, lost 1.6 percent to 1,900 rupiah. Nickel futures declined 2.1 percent to $19,075 a ton in London yesterday, the lowest close since Jan. 6.

PT Indosat (ISAT IJ), the mobile-phone operator in which Qatar Telecom QSC owns a 55.8 percent stake, slid 1.8 percent to 5,350 rupiah. Indosat’s 2011 net income rose to 835 billion rupiah ($91.3 million), from 647.2 billion rupiah a year earlier, missing the median estimate of 1.24 trillion rupiah in a Bloomberg News survey of 18 analysts.

PT Petrosea (PTRO IJ), a mining and oil services company, rose 5.1 percent to 4,625 rupiah, the highest close since at least August 1991. Petrosea said it won a contract from PT Santan Batubara that includes mining services at the Uskap mine site valued at $188 million.
