March 6 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Chilean trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close in Santiago.
The Ipsa index fell 0.5 percent to 4,483.75. The MSCI Chile index dropped 1.9 percent to 2,549.84.
Empresas CMPC SA (CMPC CC) slid 0.7 percent to 2,104.2 pesos. Chile’s second-largest pulp exporter fell to the lowest level in more than three weeks as commodities and stocks extended a selloff on concern that the global economy is slowing.
Empresas Copec SA (COPEC CC), Chile’s biggest pulp exporter, dropped 0.5 percent to 8,003.2 pesos.
Cap SA (CAP CC), Chile’s biggest iron and steel company, retreated 1.6 percent to 20,475 pesos. Iron ore for immediate delivery fell 20 cents, or 0.1 percent, to $143 a ton, according to a price index compiled by The Steel Index Ltd.
