March 6 (Bloomberg) -- ArcelorMittal’s Kazakh unit raised sales of rolled steel by 8.5 percent to 3.2 million metric tons last year.
ArcelorMittal Temirtau produced 3.7 million tons of liquid steel last year, an increase of 10 percent, the unit of the world’s biggest steelmaker said by e-mail today.
The company plans to cut capital spending to $328 million in 2012 from $383 million in 2011, according to the statement.
