March 1 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 4:10 p.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index rose 1.1 percent to 22,982.85. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index gained 1.3 percent to 2,895.84.
Alturas Minerals Corp. (ALT PE), a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, rose 9.1 percent to 12 cents after copper advanced to the highest since Feb. 9.
Ferreyros SA (FERREYC1 PE), the Lima-based distributor for Caterpillar Inc., jumped 5.6 percent to 2.99 soles after U.S. stocks advanced, said BBVA Continental SAB’s Chief Executive Officer Jorge Ramos.
Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML PE), a Canadian gold and copper exploration company, gained for a fifth session, adding 5.3 percent to 80 cents, a five-year high. Gold futures rebounded from yesterday’s decline.
Intergroup Financial Services Corp. (IFS PE), the owner of Peru’s fourth-largest bank Interbank, rose 5.1 percent to $31 after the central bank said bank lending increased 19 percent in January.
