March 1 (Bloomberg) -- The Czech Republic’s PX stock index increased 0.7 percent to 1,018.3 at the end of trading in Prague, its second day of gains.
The following were among the most active equities on the Prague Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.
CEZ AS (CEZ CP), the biggest Czech power utility, rose for a second day, adding 0.2 percent to 808.8 koruna. Electricity for next-year delivery in Germany, where CEZ exports part of its output, advanced 1.1 percent to 53.3 euros per megawatt-hour.
Erste Group Bank AG (RBAG CP) increased 1.4 percent to 483 koruna, its highest close in three weeks. The Austrian lender had the price estimate for its Vienna-traded shares raised to 18.7 euros from 15 euros at Nomura International Plc.
Fortuna Entertainment Group NV (FORTUNA CP) fell the most this year after the Czech bookmaker and lottery operator said its 2011 profit fell 23 percent. The stock slid 2.1 percent to 101 koruna, after rising to a six-month high yesterday.
