Feb. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Tesco Plc, the U.K.’s largest grocer, teamed up with Vodafone Plc to start a mobile phone service in Hungary, MTI state-run news service reported, citing Gerry Gray, the company’s chief executive officer in Hungary.
Tesco will introduce the service in Hungary on March 1 after launching it in the U.K., Ireland and Slovakia, MTI said, citing Gray. Tesco will use Vodafone’s network in Hungary and the two companies will each own 50 percent of Tesco Mobile, MTI said.
