Pemex’s Former CEO Ramirez Corzo Joins Oilfield Services Firm

Feb. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Integradora de Servicios Petroleros Oro Negro recruited Luis Ramirez Corzo, the former chief executive officer of Mexico’s state oil company, Petroleos Mexicanos, as executive president.

Oro Negro “has secured $250 million in commitments” to pursue oilfield service contracts in Mexico, the company said in an e-mailed statement today.

Ramirez Corzo, 64, stepped down from the Mexico City-based company known as Pemex in December of 2006. He will be joined at Oro Negro by Gilberto Perezalonso and Gonzalo Gil White as co-chief executive officers, the company said.
