Feb. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Sugar production in the U.K. will reach 1.3 million metric tons in the season started in October, up from a January estimate of 1.25 million tons, according to Associated British Foods Plc.
Output in the 2010-11 season was just under 1 million tons, the company said in a statement today. Sugar beet processing is nearly complete, the company said.
