Feb. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Mercator Poslovni Sistem d.d., the largest retail store chain in the Balkans, said net income fell 22 percent last year to 23.5 million euros.
Revenue advanced 5.3 percent to 2.93 million euros. The biggest gain was recorded in Serbia, where the Slovenian company increased sales 17.6 percent from a year earlier, the Ljubljana-based company said in an e-mailed statement today.
The company proposed a dividend of 4.50 euros on 2011 earnings.
