Feb. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Uganda’s central bank will announce its next interest-rate decision on March 1 when it publishes its monetary policy statement. The bank cut its benchmark lending rate by one percentage point to 22 percent on Feb. 1.
Kenya’s statistics agency is scheduled to release February consumer-inflation data on Feb. 29, a spokesman for the agency said today. Inflation slowed to 18.3 percent in January from 18.9 percent a month earlier, the agency said on Jan. 31.
