Feb. 25 (Bloomberg) -- A fire on a Brazilian research facility in Antarctica left one member of the military injured while other two are missing, the country’s navy said today.
The Comandante Ferraz Brazilian Antarctic Base was evacuated, according to an e-mailed statement. The fire, which has yet to be contained, was reported at 2 a.m. Brazil time and started in the area where power generators are located, according to the statement.
