Budimex SA (BDX PW) jumped 1.9 percent to 87.6 zloty, the highest level since July 15, after Poland’s biggest construction company reported 2011 earnings that beat analysts’ estimates.
NG2 SA (CCC PW) dropped 1.8 percent to 54 zloty, falling for a second day, as Erste Group Bank AG downgraded Poland’s biggest publicly traded shoe retailer to “hold” from “buy.”
Sygnity SA (SGN PW) soared 8.4 percent to 22.22 zloty, a seven-month high, after Asseco Poland SA (ACP PW) bid for the Polish software developer. Asseco, central Europe’s largest software maker, offered to pay 21 zloty per Sygnity share, it said in a statement today. Asseco retreated 0.4 percent to 54.1 zloty, falling for the second day this week.
