Feb. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Baker & McKenzie LLP hired Christopher Horn, a partner at Mayer Brown LLP, to boost its structured finance practice.
Horn, 41, has experience in the securitization and financing of auto loans and leases, Baker & McKenzie said today in an e-mailed statement. Horn will join the firm’s New York office as a partner on its banking and finance team.
“We are expanding our capabilities for clients in the finance area, and his significant experience in securitization and structured finance matters will be a great asset to both our financial institution and corporate clients,” James C. Colihan, managing partner of the firm’s New York office, said in the statement.
Baker & McKenzie is an international firm with more than 3,800 lawyers. It was ranked the highest-grossing law firm in fiscal 2010 with revenue of $2.1 billion, according to the American Lawyer, a trade publication.
