Israel Stocks: Israel Petrochemical, Nova Are Active

Feb. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Israel’s TA-25 index advanced for a second day, gaining 0.5 percent to 1,116.78 at the 4:30 p.m. close in Tel Aviv.

The following stocks rose or fell today. Symbols are in parentheses.

Israel Petrochemical Enterprises Ltd. (PTCH IT) posted its biggest gain since Feb. 1, increasing 3.9 percent to 7.546 shekels. The maker of raw materials for plastics said it’s in talks with the Bereshit fund for a 120 million shekels ($32 million) loan.

Nova Measuring Instruments Ltd. (NVMI IT) fell for a third day, declining 0.6 percent to 32.10 shekels. The maker of monitoring systems said fourth-quarter net income dropped to $4.97 million from $7.49 million in the year-earlier period.
