Feb. 17 (Bloomberg) -- China and Switzerland made progress on a potential free-trade agreement during a fourth round of talks, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said.
The two nations discussed the garment trade, intellectual property, competition policy and technical barriers to trade during the negotiations, held Feb. 14-Feb. 16 in Beijing, the ministry in a statement posted on its website today.
Bilateral trade between China and Switzerland increased 54 percent last year to $30.9 billion, the ministry said.
