Feb. 14 (Bloomberg) -- The Micex Index of 30 shares rose 0.2 percent to 1,562.13 by 6:45 p.m. in Moscow.
The following are among the most active equities in the Russian market today. Stock symbols follow company names.
United Co. Rusal (RUALR RX) added 1.5 percent to 257.21 rubles after the world’s largest aluminum producer said it plans to raise alloy output at its Aluminum Division units by as much as 70 percent by 2016 to produce 1.93 million metric tons.
OAO Lukoil (LKOH RX), Russia’s second-biggest oil company, rose 1 percent to 1,863.70 rubles, its strongest closing level since July 26. Oil rose, reversing earlier declines, advancing to a three-week high as German investor confidence surged and sales at U.S. retailers climbed in January.
OAO Gazprom Neft (SIBN RX) added 1.1 percent to 154.56 rubles, the strongest level since March 2011.
OAO Novatek (NVTK RX), Russia’s second-biggest natural-gas producer, advanced 0.3 percent to 394.25 rubles. Natural gas prices are linked to crude.
