Feb. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Embraer SA, the world’s fourth-biggest planemaker, said it won an order for 10 E195 jets from Azul Linhas Aereas Brasileiras SA for a total list price of $478 million.
Delivery of the jets will begin in 2015, according to a regulatory filing.
The deal brings Embraer’s number of contracted jets to 62, of which 33 are already in operation, Embraer said.
Paulo Cesar de Souza e Silva, president of Embraer’s commercial aviation business, announced the deal to reporters today at the Singapore Airshow before the statement was published by Brazil’s securities regulator, CVM.
