Feb. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Egypt’s benchmark EGX30 Index climbed 2.7 percent to 4,709.21 at the 2:30 p.m. close in Cairo, the highest level in five months.

Maridive & Oil Services SAE (MOIL EY), a marine and oil-support services provider, increased 1.8 percent, the most this month, to $1.71. Crude for March delivery advanced as much as 1.3 percent to $99.65 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Raya Holding Co. (RAYA EY) rose 4 percent to 4.2 Egyptian pounds, the highest close this month. The Cairo-based information technology company secured sales contracts for products from its plastics-recycling plant.
