Feb. 7 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 4:10 p.m. Lima time.
The Lima General Index fell 0.4 percent to 22,803.81. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index slid 0.3 percent to 2,870.47.
Mining and industrial stocks declined on investor concern there won’t be a quick solution to Europe’s debt crisis, said Jose Luis Bustamante, head of trading at Cartisa SAB.
Cia. Minera Atacocha SA (ATACOBC1 PE), the Lima-based zinc mining company, slumped 3.2 percent to 91 centimos. Volcan Cia. Minera SAA (VOLCABC1 PE), Peru’s largest zinc and silver producer, fell 1.4 percent to 3.53 soles. Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca SA (POMALCC1 PE), a sugar producer, dropped 1.6 percent to 61 centimos. Telefonica del Peru SAA (TELEFBC1 PE), the local unit of Telefonica SA, declined 1.2 percent to 2.55 soles. Empresa Siderurgica del Peru SAA (SIDERC1 PE), a unit of Gerdau SA known as Siderperu, slid 1 percent to 97 centimos.
