Brazilian Stock Movers: HRT, Lupatech, CCR Gain; Triunfo Drops

Feb. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Sao Paulo trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the close of trading. Preferred shares are usually the most-traded class of stock.

The Bovespa Index was little changed at 65,223.72.

HRT Participacoes em Petroleo SA (HRTP3 BS) gained 2.1 percent to 472.01 reais. The oil and natural-gas exploration company rose after Petroleo Brasileiro SA reported finding oil near sites owned by HRT.

Lupatech SA (LUPA3 BS) rose 12 percent to 5 reais. The board of the oil equipment and services provider approved a 10 million real loan from Banco Votorantim, according to a regulatory filing today.

CCR SA (CCRO3 BS) advanced 2.5 percent to 13.10 reais. Brazil’s biggest toll-road operator was excluded from an auction to run and expand three of Brazil’s busiest airports because its bids weren’t high enough, according to an announcement today at the Sao Paulo stock exchange.

TPI - Triunfo Participacoes e Investimentos SA (TPIS3 BS) fell 3.3 percent to 8.50 reais after winning an auction for the license to run and expand Campinas’s Viracopos airport with a 3.8 billion-real bid.
