Colombia’s Isagen Plans New Projects, CEO Rico Tells Republica

Feb. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Isagen SA, a Colombian state-controlled power producer, is planning new energy projects with a total capacity of 3,500 megawatts, Chief Executive Officer Luis Fernando Rico told La Republica newspaper.

The Medellin-based company, will get $79 million a year when Colombia’s 800 megawatt Hidrosogamoso hydroelectric plant begins to operate in 2013, Rico told the daily.
