Spain’s Rajoy Predicts Strikes on Labor Reform, Economista Says

Jan. 31 (Bloomberg) -- Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy expects forthcoming labor reforms in Spain to provoke strikes among workers, El Economista reported.

Before the start of a European Union summit in Brussels yesterday Rajoy, while speaking to his Finnish counterpart Jyrki Katainen and unaware that his microphone was turned on, said that reform would “cost him a strike”, El Economista said.
