Raya Holding Co. (RAYA EY) increased 3.8 percent to 4.13 Egyptian pounds, the highest close in more than two months. The board of the information technology company approved starting a subsidiary to provide data-center services.
Telecom Egypt (ETEL EY) fell for a second day, declining 1.1 percent to 15.04 pounds. The country’s monopoly fixed-line phone company said its shareholders approved paying a 30 piaster dividend for 2011. The company paid a dividend of 1.3 pounds a share last year, according to Bloomberg data.
