Sarkozy May Increase Value-Added Tax to 21.2%, Le Monde Says

Jan. 28 (Bloomberg) -- French President Nicolas Sarkozy plans to announce tomorrow the value-added tax will be increased by 1.6 percentage points to 21.2 percent, Le Monde reported on its website today, without saying where it got the information.
